Band Links Drats!!! MySpace: See us on the web and how popular we are and stuff. Drats!!! Mercury Band Site: We gots a page on the Portland Mercury's website. Frank Moore's Luver.com: We played on this dudes show when we were on tour. Each sunday at 8pm, be sure to tune into "The Shaman's Den." It is a Berkeley, CA cable access show feature live bands and interviews with Frank and company. Failing Records: this record label is the creation of our good friend, Hank Failing. Hank is a great supporter of Portland music. With this label, he is creating excellent compilation CD's that showcase the diversity of Portland music. Our song "Art Nouveau" is on the Failing Records Vol. 1 comp! Heroes & Villains: These are a swell bunch of folk. We're supposed to go bowling with them some time... Over the Edge: We cite this movie as a major source of inspiration. It's About a planned community coming to grips with teenage violence in the 70's. "It really happened." Rock N' Rule: Another film that has a large influence on our group. This animated feature is about a post-apocalyptic earth that is inhabited by half-dog, half-rat humanoids. Hence, Drats!!! MGP: They don't seem to have a website anymore. But here was The Official Website Of Muffaletta Galaxy Pirates! Walk the plank! It's simple: 1. You walk across a wooden board until there is no more wooden board to walk on. 2. You fall a specified distance. 3. Sharks eat you! Digital Knife: One of our favoritest bands ever. Comin' at ya with music and fun, and if your not careful, you might learn something before it's done. Damn These Monkey Hands: Possibly the best band name ever, right up there with Other Men My Age (see above). Morgan Grace: Morgan scares the shit out of us.
Chairman's Links Cheap Trick: These guys are great. Much of our influence lies here. George Carlin: Funny-ass mother fucker! Dead Moon: Legendary band, a trio with pure passion. Love: First interracial band of the 60's psychedelic era. Also legendary. Arthur Lee is the man. Kings X: The center of the universe as we know it! The well-rounded super trio from Texas. Doug's gospel-like vocals are awesome. Living Colour: Still going strong after all these years. Experience the power and originality of Vernon Reid.
Yoon's Links Devo: Major source of inspiration. The most conceptually sound band ever! Zappa: This motherfucker! To the uninitiated, a whole world awaits! Stylex: I used to be in a band called Cletro with Joel from this group. Real good synth-based rock! Hal Hixon: Used to play in a group with this guy too. Amazing song writer and musician. Frank Pahl: This guy is just really fucking interesting. His music is inspiring to me. Gong: One of my favorite bands of all time. This site will link you to all kinds of wierd shit. Anbot Rodroid: A recent discovery. This band lurks just south of us. Unfortunately, it no longer functions as a band, yet Anbot lives in a forest somewhere.
maddog's Links CatfishCatfich: BMX fun! There is a picture of some girl passed out in her own puke. Check it out! valkyrie-exchange: Serious robots and stuff.
Alex's Links RealDoll: Absolutely fascinating practical use of science! Be sure to check out the configurator.
